Let’s call it Maternity Leave Part Two – I was just laid off. Reluctantly, at least – I left on a high note. My company appreciated my value, and knew that I was talented, smart, and was doing a lot of useful work for them. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t possible to keep me at this time.
This recession MUST be terrible for ME to be out of work. I worked in DIRECT RESPONSE, after all. I was supposed to be safe.
